Gyros for breakfast! This is the perfect small town diner. Friendly servers, customers who all know one another, AND menu choices that aren't just the same old thing. I was there for breakfast, and had trouble choosing between a gyro omelette and a skillet with eggs, hash browns, gyro meat, and cheese. The skillet had "more stuff" according to my server, so what could I do? More IS better. If you're in the neighborhood, you really ought to stop by.

I will NEVER step foot back in Fourstar restaurant ever again, just had food thrown at me from across the restaurant covering my person from jacket all the way to my shoes. I was the bigger person wiped myself off and the booth. Never have I been in an establishment that has allowed actions of assult and let them sit finishing their meal while I was told to leave. The amount of disrespect and lack of professionalism is absolutely sickening. I did not know the people nor did I have any conversation with them. TERRIBLE management- must think they can get by with things like this because state police eat there for free.

My coffee was awful, like it was made 3 days ago with bad water. My son's soup was served room temperature, suggesting to me or had been sitting out. We ate at normal lunch time (1230) so it wasn't an odd time that might lend to the vendor of the doubt. My husband and i got gyros, which was not to bad. I just the restrooms while here. ...gross! The water was brown and the toilets were so stained I don't even know if they try to clean them. Afterwards, we walked our dog in the back of the restrauant. If we had done that before, I wouldn't have eaten there. It was dirty, looked like their were flies everywhere, and just had an overall filthy apperance.

Good FOOD good price,fried chicken was good.for six people to eat it was about 60 dollars.with soup. Salad appitizer,and entrees.

Friendly fast service. AWESOME dinner food. The biscuits are the best I have ever had. Good coffee. While we were here 5 Illinois State Troopers came in for breakfast. You know if they are eating here, it's good stuff. I didn't get pie because judging by the look of them in the case, they are bought and not home made. Homemade pie would have got them 5 stars.

Came here late night last night for some eats, the food was great and service was very friendly. I asked for mayo on the side and it came on the BLT with a side- it was manageable since they didn't put a TON of mayo on and my friend asked for no onions but he got onions. Not huge deals, but not spot on. The food, though was amazing. I got the BLT, soup and fries. The soup was fine- but the BLT and fires were excellent. Love those extra cripsy fires!

I haven't been in here for a while but I tend to come back to Four Star from time to time to have dinner or for something to eat late after a night of drinking. They have really good food and they get your order specifications right most of the time. I just like that they are open 24 hours a day because you never know when you're going to need some caffeine and a good meal. I used to come here all the time after working or if I was out drinking with friends. I wish I could go more often but I don't eat out as much as I used to. I think most of the time I would get coffee or tea to drink. I would get mozzarella sticks as an appetizer or chicken dumpling soup. For dinner I will order grilled cheese, chicken strips, tuna melt, or chicken usually but they have a lot more to offer. I think they have a really good selection for being basically a truck stop. I recommend the place if you're looking for a good meal, but not if you're in a big hurry to leave because the waitresses who work in that place have always been really slow about coming back to the table to check on you and give you your bill. Other than that and the cooks not getting specific orders perfect, there is nothing wrong with the place.

I hadn't eaten here since my late night breakfasts during my younger years. A group of us went here and my breakfast was still as delicious as it was 15 years ago. It was a great time and brought back some fun memories!
